God called me a little over 3 years ago. Fully surrendered on my knees. God delivered me at that very moment when I surrendered. He delivered me from fornicating, drunkenness, masturbation, using profanity, listening to wordly secular music, and etc. I am constantly reading the word of God, all thanks to God putting His Spirit in me

@LoveYourNatural God can do it for you. You can't save yourself, but only God can do it for you. You have to surround yourself with strong believers who will encourage you. And whenever you're weak and down, you should have at least strong believers to hold you accountable and tell you not to commit anything you will later regret.

Music is misleading, and can lead to sin. Cut it out, it causes backsliding. It may seem small but music has a huge effect on people. How you feel, and react! 4. Fast, and focus on God! -We gotta do what God wants you to do.

As you walk with Christ, you want to allow the Holy spirit to lead you. We won't be able to change on our own, that's why it's important for us to stay in the word. When you allow the Holy spirit in, he will guide you on what's right and what's wrong. As a Christian my experience is that I don't date. It's just too much explaining and if you're not a God fearing man I won't entertain the situation but if I'm interested in someone, I would ask God if this person is worth building a relationship with.

So true! That thing about guarding your eye and ear gates is so true. Recently an ex popped up saying ALL the right things but since I had stopped listening to secular music and secular tv for months before, I was able to just say "thanks God bless." My mind was so sober, and when he asked if he can call me I was like 'nah I'm not ready for that." Its amazing how strong you get when you obey God. It may seem like your efforts to stay right with God aren't doing anything, but they are actually building your spiritual muscles.
