We created a 1-2 ft long wooden house that you place over the hole so the mole/vole/mouse can only go left or right from the hole. On both sides of the hole put a mouse trap. When they poke their head up through the hole, they have to go either left or right (because of the house structure )and either way they’re going to get squished. We’ve caught 38 this summer by doing this method.

I pushed a small pipe in the tunnels, put a funnel on top, and poured castor oil mixed with ground cayenne peppers and cayenne juice, fine ground black and white pepper spice, and any ground hot pepper I could find in spices thru the funnel .... It doesn't take much. (I didn't have dogs at that time so I'm not sure how they would react to it if they got their paws in it) . Then Pour a little down each tunnel. They seemed to move early morning and at night. They will reroute and as soon as they do keep doing it.. If it rains, it's okay do it again. Tasty Castor oil tends to remain in there pretty good I think. Do it again over and over. They finally left and never returned. You can't give up and do it everyday if you can. Now lately I have a mole that has taken residence again in my yard. . This is the first time in 15 years I have seen them again. Lately I can not find castor oil anywhere in my town. I used cinnamon sticks in the ground, (since dogs do not like cinnamon I use it where my dogs dig and they immediately stop after using ground cinnamon on top of places the dog digs and it smells good to humans but not to my dogs and they will not go near it) The cinnamon sticks do not melt easily at all they seem to have stayed intact for some reason. But the mole rerouted, I continued to use them argh they keep rerouting. So they don't like it but reroute each time. The cinnamon doesn't seem to bother my plants or grass so that's good but I know the moles don't like it for sure. I've got to find good quality castor oil. 15 years ago it was $8.00 for 32 oz so hum being 2023, with high inflation now, it's probably $32 a bottle now. First I will need to test it however to make sure my dogs don't like it or they will dig to get to the castor oil. That's why you can't use other oils for sure because dogs like vegetable, olive oil, fish oil, and will attempt to get to it. So first test to see if dogs attempt to go near it before using it I suggest. I wouldn't think castor oil would be good for dogs to eat .... I don't know.

I bought two packages of these worms and the very next day, the moles had thrown the worms out of the holes and kept digging. No joke.

I've used most of these and by FAR the poison peanuts worked the best! Other poisons not effective (for me). Flooding has worked in the past but the peanuts keep them gone. JMO

Does the worm stuff kill gophers? I was hoping to see what you thought was best.

I find it hard to believe that you can destroy mold from your yard. I have had no success
