Labels. The ones others give us and the ones we give ourselves often lead to depression and worse.
I know this because my lowest points came after:
🅰️ I read a negative, hateful, racist or threatening comment online,
or
🅱️ I made an internal decision about who I was based on an external situation that was out of my control.
Do this… when you feel low, depressed or anxious, ask yourself either “Did someone say something to or about me that led to this?” or
“Have I made an internal conclusion about myself based on an external circumstance?”
Mindset and what you tell yourself when you look in the mirror is everything…
