Very simple and effective advice. What's the name of the damp proof chemical you used for plaster

Mine is from a local company who calls it Pora Cap 10 but it's not the exact name. It's more like their brand name. I believe there are other water treatment products for walls in your local area.

Thanks for the video. Please I have a question. What is your wall is plastered and it’s old so there’s dark green/black in it. What can you do before plastering to prevent damping and mold?

There are mould treatment products on the market that will kill those green algae. The algae turns dark when it dies. Sometimes you don't have a rising damp problem, just mould. Sometimes you have both. Moulding can look like a damp issue so make sure to diagnose the problem well to decide on the right fix. Moulds are like small plants that grow on moist surfaces and can be killed by painting with a treatment.

Hmmm, how about the exposed area from the foundation up to the first membrane layer.

That's not damp proofed in the video. You can damp proof the foundation as well if you want. There's a whole different way to do that.
