Im getting ready to make a final decision on a lizard purchase and I had a few questions, hoping you could answer. Both crested and gargoyle geckos are ones I am considering. If I were to have a single individual, how easy is it to maintain an environment where they keep their tail? I know the Gargoyle lizards grow their tail back but I would rather they not stress and lose one. Are crested geckos much more likely to drop their tail or is it about the same? How often can they be handled without stressing them out? Is there a guide to acclimating them to being handled?

its not that hard to maintain an enviroment where they keep their tails. just make sure it has space to feel secure and not to mess with the tail a lot. sometimes they may drop the tail randomly. basically just take care of a gecko as normal and they should be fine.
