Too many, it is more then 3 devices claimed bendgate, and that is more then enough to let apple know they should work on design structure. Jonas M Rasmussen I’m not crazy about either of them. Right now I’m more into what the Chinese are doing. But c’mon, they both messed it up in the last months. I do think the bending is worse, as I said, especially because they refuse to admit the error and give full refund. But the galaxy fold was pretty bad too, everyone was talking about it and now it’s just silence... And the problems were not just the screen protector that some people removed, the hinge was problematic also, allowing dust to get under the screen. And I only this disappointed in Samsung because I was really psyched about the Fold...

i bought the ipad pro 2018 even though i’m skeptical about it bending because of the following reasons: 1. it is still the best tablet out in the market. 2. ipad OS. 3. next upgrade wont require me to buy another pencil or smart keyboard. 4. it has been 7 months from release and there has been no new reports of it bending. well at least from my region (asia pacific) 5. i am covered by apple care 6. i naturally have an ocd. so things won’t break easily under my care

Honestly, In India they sell this stuff for ₹103999, 11 inch (512Gb WiFi only), which I wanted to buy, but after watching your previous video & witnessing the reaction of apple service centre guy, I called the apple store here in India & got to know that they not only not cover it but also they don't even provide Apple care + here, which is similar to throwing me under the bus after giving out such a flimsy product. Maybe it’s just me, but you’d think the iPad would bend inward from screen pressure and not outward. A protruding camera lens automatically leaves room for this to happen when used without a case on a hard surface. Still hate the camera sticking out so far.

I'm a college student, and am generally a Google fanboy, I have a fossil Android smart watch the Google pixel 3 XL and other google based smart home tech, however after looking around for a good way to take digital notes it seemed like an iPad with an apple pencil was actually the best bet, though after some research, looking at colleagues who had iPads for note taking I had settled on the basic iPad 6th gen, as I'm not really in the apple eco system I pretty much only use it for notes that I then upload to google drive, I was ok with the basic model. And let me say to anyone considering the whole iPad/pencil set up for something like notes, the iPad 6th gen or like iPad pro 9.7 (one my friend got n I helped set up for note taking as well) have performed admirably (shocking for an apple product I know) I will say with pretty careful use the cord has started doing that apple cord thing, the adapter that lets you charge the pencil from the cord literally fell apart BUT other than those weird cheap apple things it's preformed well. And I'd say I'm a little rough on the iPad I have it in a rubber tpu style case that also holds the pencil and I carry it in hip bags, backpacks with books n junk in the bag I've dropped it once and it's in beautiful shape thanks to a case and tempored glass screen protector. If you're like me just wanting to be able to take notes, maybe draw casually, have it as a pretty basic entertainment device just buy one of the older models new from like Amazon, I really don't think the iPad pro 3rd gen is 1200$ better than my 200$ iPad 6th gen, (plus mine hasn't bent) it might be partly too that I'm not in the apple camp of wanting the status symbol or whatever, I want to take digital notes and the cheapest option does that pretty damn well

It most likely happened in your backpack to be honest. Depending on what else was inside the backpack and placement of said objects. Once its on your back and the bag contours to the shape of your back it could put a small amount of load/pressure on the items inside. Given these Ipads are already incredibly bendy not worth the risk put it in a case and carry it separately when travelling like you mentioned. You shouldn't have to by no means but apple really needs to get their shit together as this a poor excuse for a product. I expect a warranty coverage in the next few years covering bent ipads once people start suing apple if it ever gets to that level. Look at the iphone 6 bend gate, yes it bent alittle but long term use found major issues as chipsets broke micro solder points which caused other issues such as no touch, and more. I can easily see something like this happening to the ipad pros long term also. best of luck with keeping this one bend free.

I own one and done all things done in this video.... But i do know how to handle (delicate) electronics so no bending here!!! Every tablet / laptop / piece of tech can and/or will bend/break. The ipad pro isn't the stiffest tablet around, that's true, but in the end it all comes down to always being careful with expensive stuff. Good luck with your Samsungs :-)
