Hi Julia, the type of structuring I have is complicated and I wanted to confer with an accountant who already had experience in this type of structuring. No matter if someone is a CPA, EA or Tax Attorney they can't possibly know all of the tax law applicable for every situation. It's important to know your strengths and when to seek outside counsel from other professionals who have expertise you don't.

Same here. I just passed EA exams, but found out it takes max another 90 days to get registered on IRS. Also, I applied for EFIN back in September, but when I called IRS, they told me it may take another 45 days... Too SLOW! Now I am getting certified as QB proadvisor to distract myself

Hi Nancy, sometimes it simply can't be prevented. However, if this happens often then we can shift our focus to understanding our client's pain points and goals more thoroughly and then speaking to those needs through our service offering!

No one wants to pay $500 just for bookkeeping. Even $150 is a lot for them. I dont understand how are you getting clients for bookkeping who pays $500 per month. Its hard to beleive that.

...you might want to watch the actual video... she answers that. It's cheaper to pay $500, even $1,000 monthly for bookkeeping than hiring a full-time employee that comes with payroll deductions, benefits, etc. And it's WORTH it at tax time with deductions, not to mention, if they know their numbers are accurate in where their business is sitting financially, they can make informed decisions to help their business grow and expand.
