You are so right my price is my price only thing they can say is yes are no. Like you said it may take me 10 mins but if I drop the gate it is what it is I’m not going to kill myself on no one yard but I am fair. But you know you always get that customer stick it to you if you let them. You always charge more for that first season cut. Keep up the good work bro.💪🏾💯

Great tips brother! But quick question! How long those big yards with 2 + acres take you? 2.5 hours for (5) 30 minutes small yards. $250/2.5= $100hrs
@coleheigle27 күн бұрын
Most of my bigger lawns are right under 2 acres and they take about 1 to 2 hours to mow just depends on how much trimming. Kick is the smaller yards are nice but your also dealing with 5 different clients vs 1 client.

@@coleheigle dang you mow 2 acres fast! 💨 true on collecting payments!

How much per square foot
@allenlett2 ай бұрын
What’s a ballpark per square footage price to start at? Point is in the right direction, and THANKS for great content dude
@coleheigle2 ай бұрын
The way I did it was I took all my minimum priced yards and compared them by square footage and took the biggest one out of them and set my minimum to not be higher then that square footage and basically just built a chart off of that!

My friend's neighborhood in Florida has a husband/wife team doing $16 cuts!!! They put the other landscaper out of the area which was $25 per cut.😝

Yes, whatever works to pay the bills! Just have to make sure you’re making profit!

Do you do cash only? If not how do you accept payment? Also, do you do a 1099 and have an accountant and everything? I'm just unsure how I am going to start out and if I need to get an LLC squared away and talk to a accountant.
@coleheigle3 ай бұрын
Yes, the best way is to get an accountant they will walk you through everything! That’s what I did because I didn’t know either! But I had a S Corp by myself and now that I do it full time and have employees I have a LLC. Also we are in the process in moving all mowing clients to a card on file but right now I only accept cash, check, or Venmo. Also one more thing get a business bank account!

How are you doing measurements? Are you using an app? I would like to move towards charging by sqft as well but don't know where to start. Around how much do you charge per sq ft?
@coleheigle10 ай бұрын
I do measurements on lawns on my phone using Google earth pro works great and also there are some apps the can do square footage also like (my lawn)
