Hey thanks for making these videos! You really do explain this stuff pretty clearly. I'm thinking about trying to flip some sneakers for the first time. My plan is to buy some kicks from goat and then resell them on amazon; I've compared prices and based on the costs on amazon, I'd theoretically be able to flip them for a few hundred. Here's my question: do you think amazon's a good place to resell? the shoes i looked up are popular for sure: jordan airs, etc., however it looks like this one outlet in the midwest is dominating the amazon marketplace, i.e. there's usually only 1-3 selectable and registered people/sellers who are actually offering the shoes. Do I need to find a different way to resell if people don't actually buy hype stuff on amazon?

Now your getting to meats and potato's of the resell but you have to learn to crawl before you walk so you started where you needed to. Almost everything you spoke about applies to business. This reselling will really prepare the younger viewers for a life in business if they ever go into that field. I myself am and this is almost the same type of priciables I work off of. I've actually linked a amazon link to the description where i buy my boxes. In hawaii, individual boxes are wayyyyy too expensive. If you use that link, you can get boxes for like $1 a box and they are the perfect size for shoes. Shipping takes less then a week too. Its perfect my dude. Hope you look into it.

Any advice for new sellers as far as which forum to use for selling sneakers? It’s always sketchy buying from someone on eBay who doesn’t have a decent selling history, but everyone has to start somewhere so that poses a bit of a problem haha

It has to do with feedback on Ebay more than anything else. New sellers all have good feedback until they mess up or some buyer screws them over. I would rather buy from someone with 5 sales and 100% positive feedback than 500 Sales and 95%. I use to sell on Ebay and I had 100% positive feedback with well over 1k positive feedback sales. Not one single negative feedback. It's easy to achieve. Package things nicely and neatly, Overtape and most importantly deliver the exact same product the person in the picture to their house. I never used stock photos. My shirts were never wrinkled, my hats were never crushed. I also did not accept returns but I never even had a request for one. Once you start accepting returns prepare for your stuff to arrive back to you worn, stinky, wrinkled etc. Only large companies can even afford to do returns. The make so much money they don't even get the product back. They don't care about it. It goes to an entirely different warehouse when it's returned that is not even the company if that makes sense.

dang id just stay patient. if your getting bids close to what your asking consider taking sometimes. I used to be stingy with dropping in price but i realized theres more profit to be made if you take your money and reinvest quicker. buying shoes faster is much more profitable than waiting a while to try getting a few extra bucks from 1 shoe sale
