The last thing you said was the most true part of your video. It’s all about marketing. I can sell whatever I want for whatever I want with the right manipulation, i mean marketing.

My first shirt went for $20 in person(where I got most of my sales) and $25 online. As soon as I can find a print shop here I'm going to hit it again. Thanks for the tips.

Thank you for this helpful video.i think when starting a t-shirt brand,the pricing can be $15 - $25 cause people are just getting to know you so i wont advise that it should be expensive. if they are paying $25 for a t-shirt then it should be worth it.

Idk there's alot to consider ad pricing the manufacturing pricing design pricing but honestly 20$-35$ would work for me

@Robert Loyale. Okay, nice videos. However, I haven't seen a video talking about shipping part. Do you suggest clothing brands to charge for shipping or give free shipping? On most e-commerce platforms, shipping prices are deal breakers.

Could you do a video on pricing hoodies, I didnt start with t shirts and I know you said $25-$35 but to me thats unrealistic for what I get the hoodies at and here in canada people sell hoodies for starting at $40+
@RobertLoyale6 жыл бұрын
Honestly, the price for hoodies has increased. I'm going to redo this price guide.

Starting my business and I wanna sell for £40 For the cheapest t-shirt, I'm a bit worried but I'm not a person that's into making £8-£10 profit, so gonna be confident in my designs and quality, plus I'm gonna smash social media.

I am a new shop as well mostly a designer so i really do not want to revolve my designs around the same things i like new challenges. i have spent some money on Facebook ads and google ad words. One design i made had over 500 engagements on Facebook but no sales yet. i charge 21.50 for shirts and 24 roughly for long sleeve tees. so i am a little hesitant at what could be the issue i think i could be the price point. i am also using printful and on every social media platform for marketing i loved the samples that i got from my designs from printful on the material. love the channel bro just wanted to share my journey so far.
@RobertLoyale7 жыл бұрын
Well if its at a good price, but you aren't converting sales. You may want to start assessing the marketing. Are the shirts for them specifically? I'll address Facebook Ads and why I feel like they're trash (giving you an alternative) in a future vid but for now, I would say really look at what makes your shop the ish and see who would appreciate it.
@RobertLoyale7 жыл бұрын
Also, 500 engagements, are they liking sharing or viewing? That's a lot for no sales
@Day_All_Day7 жыл бұрын
Robert Loyale just liking and sharing not alot of link clicks on the ads thanks for the reply.
@RobertLoyale7 жыл бұрын
Well that’s actually good. What ends up happening is that you get a 7 - 14 day window to “whoo” them with another post. But here’s the thing if the first post was a sale, then the second one needs to be information. (Jab jab jab right hook)

Thank you so much your videos are very helpful I’m looking at a price pint of $15 to start to get a feel but my questions is what will happen if you start to raise prices should you come with a price point and leave it.,until you get loyalty
@pamelaberry45205 жыл бұрын
The way I see it is you start out with best quality product you can and go a price point that appropriate for the level of quality of the item. If you later on want to increase quality then you can increase prices to accommodate. If you price to cheap people will think the quality is cheap.

Jiffy shirts or Blank shirts to order from. I use both depends on quantity and actual item. Try Bella-Canvas shirts from either of those places. They ate good quality. I just hot a couple for samples. I am very pleased.

Between embroidery and screen printing, which would you recommend to use for startup brands?
@pamelaberry45205 жыл бұрын
That would depend on your target market. Who you are marketing to.
@brainstormart7 жыл бұрын
Hello thanks for another great video! I find that $20 plus tax and shipping makes people not want to buy a T-shirt from a small shop. If you are running a print on demand shop how do you really make money when the cost to print the shirt is so high? Also I really can’t offer free shipping because I loose more money. This has been the biggest challenge for me.
@RobertLoyale7 жыл бұрын
Yeah it does get difficult. You should take some time and evaluate who your audience is. Sometimes that means reevaluating your customers. Then generate a price that is appropriate. Example: Apple was way expensive for the average consumer, so they sold to schools. Then they marketed for students. Now everybody has a MacBook.
@brainstormart7 жыл бұрын
Robert Loyale great advice! I will evaluate!
@ThirdPulseMedia7 жыл бұрын
Kesha TechGurl I've talked to people who say shipping is never really "free". If the manufacturer price is $12 and your price is $10 you're charging $22. Subtracting the shipping price your profit will be $5. Shipping is come from your profit but marketed as free.

@dsnyder97145 жыл бұрын
No you cannot, song lyrics and album art is copyrighted by the publisher of the lyrics and the artwork is copyrighted by the artist that created it or the design firm that created it(or in some cases purchased a commercial use license)

Is that much because you’re buying a name...and the clients that it is meant for, are intended to make a lot of money and can drop a bill or 5 and not scratch the bank. That’s why if you go into a dealership wearing norm clothes, the sales team assume your looking for a bargain or eco car... not a high quality sport, you know?

I have a brand called "000reset" you can follow it on Instagram if you would like , Im in high school and I'm just starting out with a friend , and one tip that i think will help everyone that Robert didn't mention in the video is "Would you buy it" This is a question i ask myself and my friends. Why put out a product for people to buy if you yourself wouldn't pay for it. If you seen the t-shirt your selling to others on sell , would you buy it? , if so how much would you take out of ur own wallet for the shirt. Thats how i look at things before i purchase my stuff and try to sell it.
