Explaining a few horticultural terms as she goes, and why you should only use peat free compost, she uses foxgloves grown from seed she bought from higgledygarden, to pot on into compost from sylvagrow. Hi Georgie. If you miss the seedlings when they are at the best time to prick out and they become legging, do you bury their 'necks" when potting up? TIY!

works for me as I then prick out into the same trays and the same compost - saves compost in the end x

Thank you I'm learning so much. Every day's a school day! I've watched prepping the greenhouse for seed sowing and pricking out seeds but I can't find a video of you sowing seed Georgie. So is there one ? Also you mentioned a wiggly spine so I'm wondering if you have what you have scoliosis an inherited curvature of the spine? I'm astounded at your energy and boundless enthusiasm anyway. I'm struggling a bit here and I think we're a similar age. 1967 vintage 😉

Thank you! I pricked out amaranth seedling this year and they never recovered. But I did grab them from the leaves and pulled straight out.
