Oh I just happened across this when I got your tote pattern. Thank you for showing how to do the layers. I couldn't figure it out and I was going to search and voila, your video popped right up. Thank you for sharing your sewing knowledge.

The first time I printed and used a PDF pattern, I found the printer paper was difficult to pin to the fabric and it was hard to line up the pattern pieces correctly on the fabric because the paper was opaque. So I ordered a roll of tracing paper from Amazon, and laid it on each printed pattern piece and traced it using a Sharpie marker. This really worked great! The tracing paper pattern pieces were much easier to pin and cut out.

I’m gonna use that idea, that it’s so smart and easier to store

We have a plotter printer at work (construction company) but don’t use it often. I use printing patterns as a reason to “keep it working properly”, lol.

Question, do I have to print out the pattern for each size I need.
