Printing and binding music scores is normally a huge hassle. In this video, I share with you my (relatively) simple process of printing and binding music scores. I am using the 11"x17" Tabloid size, or A3 if you live outside the US, in this demonstration. You can apply this method for any size paper. Your timing is on another level. I was just talking with my wife about printing and coiling my scores for an upcoming performance! 😁

As I always say, nothing like a printing and binding video to get the compositional juices flowing

Great instructional video...I feel the same way about needing to feel the tangible hard copy of a score I have to say, I have attempted the coiling process before and you made it look SO much easier than what I went through!!! I guess it's a matter of paying for the better quality tools to do the job, etc, although, you obviously have alot of practice under your belt with this...any chance the 'display model' of Aysheen could be purchased at a discount?

It definitely takes a little time in the beginning but ive saved a lot in the long run - right now no Aysheen isn’t available and I haven’t thought through how to “package” study scores vs. conductor scores. Depends if there is enough broader interest. Not sure how keen folks are to purchase Haddad study scores for Christmas 🤣🤣🤣

@@saadhaddadmusic The demand may not be as much as it should be, but I would put one on my Xmas list!

This video is worth it's weight in 70 lb paper 😂 Subscribed. I'm trying to make my name as a composer as well. Nice work Saad!

A few years ago I tried to donate some of my string quartets to the University of California, Santa Barbara music library. They refused. Claimed that they would not take anything spiral bound. They were the only library that refused. Strange.

I haven’t had any experiences like that before but this is mainly intended for performances and submitting hard copies for contests and university applications

Great! Could you do a video on front matter please? Maybe you already have one lol

It’s on the list 😝

But regardless I suggest you look at scores online there are a lot of great examples that don’t necessarily need a video from me 🤣

There are some professional printers that will do the printing and binding for you. For a price, of course. I like Black Ribbon.

Yep absolutely. I just like to do everything in house.
