imho.. they added some probiotics during fermentation process.. so that the pallettes will be better for the poultry or fish digestion system. you may skip the fermentation process if your poultry or fish already got enough probiotics in their diet. just my two cents.

You did not make any good pellet; it looks more like noodles. 1. Finally you need to make it dry to touch and steam sterilize at 120-125C 2. You MUST always use gloves and face masks. If they get contaminated, you will be in a big mess. 3. Better to use steam drying rather than sun drying. After drying the moisture content should be less than 1-2%. 4. Try to collect husks left after milling pulses. Good idea but need professional people.
