Can we have 2 different E MAILS to notify us on an incoming order... sometimes my main e mail gets full and blocks me out of receiving e mails

Yes, sure! You can specify several email addresses you'd like to receive notifications to. You can do it on this page: my.ecwid.com/#mail (Admin email addresses‍ section)

Hello! On the checkout, the customer is asked to enter their shipping/delivery address. So, this information then should be visible at My Sales → Orders page. Hope this helps!

Hello! Buying and printing shipping labels from the Ecwid admin is available on the paid plans: Venture, Business and Unlimited. In case you're on the Free plan, you can buy the label directly from the shipping carrier you're using to ship your packages.

Hi! If you reside in one of the following countries (US, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands), you can buy shipping labels directly from your Ecwid admin. Once you buy a shipping label, you'll get a tracking number and can bring the package to the shipper's office. Another way is to buy a shipping label in the shipper's office when bringing them the package - they should give you a tracking number once you pay for the shipping. My question is: How to I handle CUSTOM orders? I would like to include these custom orders in Ecwid, but HOW to do that does not seem clear. For example, I offer woodworking projects, many of which are custom. I let customers choose if they want a cutting board made from these choices: pure walnut; walnut/cherry/maple; maple/cherry/purpleheart. Then, they can choose: a) with a juice rail; b) without a juice rail; c) with hand holds routed in; d) no hand holds. With these choices, how do I handle these variable choices by customers? Thanks!

Hello! There is an opportunity to create custom fields for products within the product edit menu. With help of product options, you can offer multiple selections to configure or personalize the final product. For example, you offer the main product, which can be changed depending on the material, additional details, etc. All this information that you collected from a customer via product options will be displayed in your Ecwid admin > My Sales > Orders section. Here is how you can create product options: 1. From your Ecwid admin, go to Catalog → Products. 2. Open the product page you want to edit. 3. Go to the Options tab 4. Click +Add New Option to add an option and its parameters. 5. Add the name of the option, for example, "Size". 6. Select the input type. 7. Click +Add New Value and add all values of the option. 8. Choose the Default option 9. Save changes Hope this helps :)

@@ecwidteam6071 Well, sorta. Here's what I want my customers to do for this special project when they order one of the pens I will be custom making for them. I want them to choose from one of two options (acrylic OR wood) body. By the way, I did go through and use the "Options" section. I could, in fact, get them to choose one or the other. HOWEVER, there is another level of question they must answer in ode to get exactly what they want. Lets suppose the customer chooses ACRYLIC for their custom pen. I direct them to an Etsy site belonging to a person in Texas. He makes HUNDREDS of pen blanks each week, so I am allowing my customers to pick from the vast offerings he has posted. So, my customer, having chosen acrylic, now must enter the pen blank # from the Etsy site. All that works okay. BUT.... The mess-up comes when as they move through the ordering process, their next step is a pull-down menu in which I have listed all the woods with which I can turn pen bodies. This really confuses them, because they purposefully chose NOT to opt for wood. There doesn't seem to be a way I have found that, if they choose acrylic from the first option box, they will not jump completely over/around the wood choices, because they have indicated that wood is not their interest. Same thing for the people who begin by choosing wood rather than acrylic for their pen. They expect to choose a type of wood, yet they are immediately faced with an option to enter the pen blank number for an acrylic pen. I guess I'll have to rethink the entire process. If this were are simple as some HTML programming or I could use a Google Form to help them select, this would enable me to build a "routing" mechanism so they wouldn't deal with the options that don't apply to their preference.

@@nctplarry Hi!...I sell custom too. All you have to do is add a product, go to OPTIONS and write "materials", then add VALUES, one for acrylic and another one for wood, but don't forget to choose your INPUT TYPE (in your case the drop-down list works the best), and also don't forget to click on DO NOT PRE-SELECT DEFAULT VALUE. If those materials have different prices is better if you leave the main price box $0.00 and then add individual prices right next to each of your materials.

Hello! Pay by Cash - is default payment method in the store. if a customer choses this method - they expect that they will be able to pay by cash on delivery. Basically, using the manual payment methods like Pay by Cash allows you to accept payments outside Ecwid. That means that you should get paid somehow out of Ecwid, use any way that will be comfortable for you and customer. It could be the Cash on Delivery indeed, or you could suggest a customer to sent their payment to your bank account manually. Hope that info helps! Hi! There is no inbuilt setting to accept only debit cards. A lot of customers would have credit cards and they would like to use them to pay in an online store. If your store doesn't accept their card, they are more likely to leave the store without making a payment. Thus, you risk losing customers. It's better to give customers a big selection of cards you can accept in the store to make sure that they can pay. Ecwid needed to add shipping labels/picking lists/packing ect - FOR ALL COMMON CARRIERS for ALL COMMON COUNTRIES - relying on another paid app ( shipstation ect) for shipping is a real pain!

Thank you for commenting. Pay by cash is a payment method created in your store by default to start accepting orders. This is an offline payment method that doesn't capture the payment from the customer right away after placing an order. So, you need to get in touch with your customer and arrange the payment. Click the link, Add Tracking Number, shown on the right side, a new box will open and show you a space to put the tracking number.

Hi! When you purchase a shipping label for the order, you may be offered a discounted price. Our reseller prices for shipping labels differ from the USPS retail prices. Some services are discounted, and others are not.

This shows how to mark as paid, and shipped but doesn't mention actually how to process the payment or the shipment... I just launched a store, payment and shipping already setup and linked, yet the test orders I make and pay for show up, yet payments never show up in my case paypal, nothing shows at all... on the payment paypal side it shows as "Unclaimed". but since I cannot find a pay to actually capture the payment i'm at a loss... and this video is useless and not helpful at all
