Yes, you should be able to recreate them using less and it may even be easier I think because of how intuitive they both are!

What a great remake and video. I got a question and a 2 requests-ish :D The question : Ive seen that only within the lead itself you make one of the layers wider. As a whole, it seems like you dont use any stereo shaping on most leads, chords, bass etc. How is the mix so clean without it? 1. Please next time when editing, try to separate the time of speaking from the time of playing the music. It was difficult for me at times to hear what you say. You can obviously teach us stuff and then play it again, but it seems more natural to stop playing when you talk :) 2.This request it totally selfish, and you can happily ignore it - For the legit users that buy their DAWs and plugins, please switch to serum :) I can't play and learn from the FLPbecause it is mostly sylenth1. And lets be honest - serum can do ANYTHING sylenth1 can and way more. I see no reason to use sylenth1 anymore but thats just my opinion. I do know that you have serum so consider making it your main synth :D Thanks again for the lovely vid and FLP! You are great!!!

Hi :) Appreciate your question! So, to answer about the mix: mixing is 80% about volume, which is something I always stress when mixing. I'm also a proponent of having things done correctly from the source, rather than throwing away hours tweaking something that may not be the right element to begin with. In essence, mixing is about being mindful and intentional with your decisions, the right sounds, and a little EQ/compression goes a long way! Then nuances such as reverbs, distortion, all all create added value to your track Appreciate your feedback, btw! And Serum is great, I definitely can agree! Sylenth is nostalgic to me, and know it really well - your thoughts are appreciated!
