How to produce an animated GIF or an animated PNG with PowerDirector

PowerDirector has the ability to produce either an animated GFI for an animated PNG file. You can choose between multiple image sizes and various frames per second. We also show you differences in the output. The GIF will run when clicked on, the PNG will not. The GIF has a bit depth of 8, the PNG of 24.

I'm really confused here because my power director doesn't quite look like this, i don't have an "export range" button, and even those hotkeys don't work. I'm just trying to make a gif, but i seemingly have no option to do so

What version of PowerDirector do you have? What platform are you working on? This was created using PowerDirector 365 in a Windows environment. --Jim

The animated GIF and PNG tools were introduced after your version of PowerDirector was developed. So you won't find them in Ultra 15. --Jim
