NOTE: My dad forgot how to do this, and though hes doesn't subscribe to any of my KZbin channels, his Google search for how to set it up brought him to my (this) video, which he used to get it set up correctly. This made me unbelievably happy!!!! Proof: github.com/flube2/Webhost/blob/main/Screenshot_20230612-033909%7E2.png

Thank you for making this video.☺️We just had landscaping done & the landscaper installed a Rainbird hose timer in the backyard, but in the frontyard he installed this Ace timer and forgot to leave the instruction manual for me!🙄 I’ve been asking him since May to please send it to me but I finally gave up, so I was very happy to find your instruction video.😃I was able to program it perfectly with your help. As a sidenote, I must say the Rainbird timer was much more straightforward and easy to understand, but hopefully I won’t have to deal with either one now that they’re both programmed. Thanks again!🙂

You're very welcome! Yeah with things like hose timers, instructions are kind of hard to find. You either need to keep the instruction manual or Google for hours lol

Not a fan of this model. The old spin dials were much more reliable and lasted longer. I have this one beside two spin dials on my irrigation hose. 1. It won't turn off manual no matter what. 2. It leaks all over including out of the battery pack. My two old spin dials i got from ACE are beside it zero problems. It seems every year these things get cheaper and more poorly made. This one is crap, luckily I have had it less than a year and I will take it back and pay more for a different model. And yes I slowly added pressure to it.

Thank you for the input! Yeah ours ended up acting up after a while and stopped working. My father hardly used it so decided not to replace, so can't offer ant suggestions. If I remember correctly the valve kept getting stuck. It's literally been sitting on the shelf in my main office in a plastic bag since then. Maybe one day I'll fix it...... but if nobody's going to use it, what's the point? :)

Your dad must be able to understand you a whole lot better than me, I don't understand the damn instructions they provided or your instructions specifically The part that says number of days. Oh well I'll figure it out.

I have many timers for 14 water zones total and made the mistake to buy one of these in the double output version. These ace brand timers are the most confusing, non intuitive and longest hassle to set up timer made and I suggest to not buy it. And just because it works in manual mode for a test or quick soak, do not think that means it works in the timer mode. The orbit ones are so easy, although they will fail to work in a short time. Another example of cheap china made over priced junk we have no real good alternatives. I bought 4 Orbit timers over the winter when they were cheap and now, in spring am finding out 2 of them don't work. Local store wants $60 for a double orbit, ugh!!!
