You can use it with Linux (with recent distros no additional driver needed) and flash tool or Windows with AsProgrammer and there is a way to run it in MacOS - but no way this works with iOS or Android I know of.

I can see that You have the Black version of the board where most of the time it sends 5V to power line instead of the 3,3V that most of the chip required. There should be apply the 3,3V Fix If I am not mistaken.

Nothing needed use Ch341a it’s most common ! There is jumper which when u shift gives 5v and by default it comes with 3.3v set !!

@@Aditya11ttt With all due respect and Your knowledge ... there are some versions that give correct 3.3V output but some give 5V output. According to manual the jumper is used to switch between programming mode and TTL mode on the device. The easiest way is to test the pins with multimeter. My purpose of the comment was not to argue ... just advice to people who got version with 5V output as they are on the market.

He used the wrong voltage, this programmer is for 3.3v and 5v chips ONLY, and has to be used with an adapter for 1.8v chips. You can damage a chip by not using a 1.8v adapter (In the case of a 1.8v chip, like his).

@@Aditya11ttt When you selected the chip ( 8:49 ), you can see the text says "1.8v". So either this info isn't true or you used the wrong voltage (and still somehow didn't damage it). Also, how are new viewers supposed to know this tutorial only works with 3.3v ICs? You didn't even mention that we have to check that at all, something we have to check BEFORE CONNECTING THE IC TO THE PROGRAMMER. But don't get me wrong, it's a great tutorial after all and will work for most people, I admire you willingness to help people. All I'm trying to do here is give you some constructive criticism and also help people not getting their BIOS chip fried. I think you should at least update the title and description with the "3.3v BIOS Only", maybe even pin a comment saying that, but it's up to you.

If it’s 1.8v bios chip use adapter and use any chip from auto detection list will work al u need adapter that’s all !! Same is for 3.3v use any from auto detection list even it’s 1.8v written will work !! More study more confusion less study less confusion let’s keep this simple !! For all !! And not complicated!!!
