How to Program the Galcon 8056-AC 6S for Plant Propagation

I have a similar unit for years. Never bothered to set up another channel behind channel A, until now. Trying to set up channel C, I somehow disabled A. Is there a method to reset this unit to factory settings? Thank you VERY much.

Thank you for your response!! Looks like mine is slightly different. I was able to find the manual online and the truck on mine is to press the first button several times until the civkucsl icon appears, then I can proceed like you did. Thank you so much for your video and interest!

Wiring question. You have to power this unit from a 12V source? Basically buy a 12 V transformer and run it to the timer?

It has a transformer that supplies 24VAC. The sprinkler valves also require 24VAC to operate. A timer may work but you'd have difficulty getting it to come on for 10 seconds every 5 to 10 minutes (at least the timers I've seen).

I had this working last year but can't get it going this season. When I try to get to Manual to test it says "Rain" but nothing else happens. Any thoughts on what could be wrong or how else to troubleshoot? Controller? Bad solenoid? Thanks!

My biggest problems has been the solenoid. I have at least one or two go bad every year (out of four or five in use!

Ok. It looks like you want to water once a day, each day of the week at 2100hrs. Is that correct? Also, what duration do you want - how long do you want to water - 1 hour, 30min, 10min?

I have an 8006 ac6. It looks identical other than the number 80056. I purchased for doing intermittent misting. Did I get the wrong unit or am I missing something, because it doesn’t look like I can set it up to do intermittent irrigation. Thanks

Thank you for the video! I don't seem to get so directly like you show here to the mist with delay part of the programming. I'm stuck with valves, days, run time and start times, but I cant get to that part were I want to setup a program to start at 9am finish at 6pm runs 3 seconds every 5 minutes. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks again!

Just got mine going because of your video, THANKS! Sure was not impressed with the manual for the propagation mode, but maybe that is because I am not familiar with some of the terms. For Armando, It looks to me as if when you put a day in, that puts it into the irrigation mode, and you will not see start and stop times?? I have not had my timer start the valve yet. I think I read somewhere that if you are in the middle of a cycle, it starts the next day? THANKS again!
