You can change the speed of the video in settings, there are slower versions , look for Playback speed.

The alteration of images that come from the Amazon posting seems to be in direct violation of Amazon's Trademark Guidelines. The modification of those images in Canva for the post seems to be not permitted by their Terms.

Yes, I have noticed this too, but in Amazon's own Creator University I have seen them promoting creating image like this... So even they seem to not know if it is a violation of their terms or not.

Usually something like Disclaimer: I only recommend products I would use myself and all opinions expressed here are my own. These boards may contain affiliate links that at no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission.

@@KareesBrown Yes, typically that is one way of doing it. Sometimes people link things to their own website and they have the disclosure there within their blog article for example. Or sometimes people put something as simple as (affiliate link) in their pin description. It just has to be clearly indicated.

I’m so confused on the image thing with Amazon. I thought we couldn’t alter their images? But I see other people doing this Canva method. Is it ok or is it that people just haven’t been caught yet? I’m scared to do it…wouldn’t it be ok if we took the image “as is” from Amazon and just used it that way?

yeah, that's the first thing I noticed when I was looking up videos in what not to do (I am terrified that I would be kicked out of the program and just recently started). I'm going to be looking at the terms very closely before doing the images in Canva.

@@Kreytonchild So, I started roughly September, October. I decided to follow all the rules. I don’t alter images at all. I have a landing page for everything. So I do the Pinterest links properly etc. so far so good. I only wish I had started this sooner. I had zero sales up until a few days ago. And then it just took off! So work hard. Get your links out there!

@@beeeeeee9046 Hi, I’ve commented back twice now. Not sure if they are getting deleted or what…. Yes I disclose everywhere that it’s Amazon affiliate link. My suggestion is build a website with a blog if you can. Otherwise Facebook has been great for me. Everything has to be public for Amazon to trace it back. Which is also why Pinterest can be a problem. Which is also why a landing page is important

Ya you don't need to, however Pinterest results do rank pins from direct websites higher.

Nice explanation but What if I am promoting Women's Outfits products on Amazon on Pinterest? Without images how can I promote products? I recently chatted with the Amazon Associate team regarding that, but they clearly said that you cannot use Amazon's image on Pinterest to promote, so how can I promote women's products? Sorry but this video gives false information and highlights just how many people don't understand the rules of Amazon. You cannot use Amazon images in this way ( by simply copying and pasting them) this is a violation of their rules and you can get in serious trouble for copyright infringement. I wish it was this easy as i do think it is a nightmare , if Amazon only asked all of its sellers to sign something to say they could use their images then there would be no option. Unfortunately this is not the case though and therefore you cannot just download the images, you also cant imbed the images in canva yet. If anyone knows a legal way around this i would love to know!

I started the Amazon Affiliate program a month ago. I think I'm doing well, but the number of appearances is very low. My pins are not reaching enough users. I don't think it's because of me. Access from my country is limited due to some filter. Amazon is also suspicious because the number of clicks is much lower than on Pinterest.

I asked Amazon multiple times about images, you can not use their images in that way (by downloading and uploading them). It's also stated in their terms of service. However it's unlikey they will come after you, but having a KZbin video (of doing "it") online for sure doesn't help.

@@anastasia-mariarekali3506 you get the imars by using Amazons Tool (productor is the name I think). Thats the tool you use to create your affiliate links (it can generate image links as well ). Besides that you have to get the images from somewhere else.

I understand we can slow the talking down ourselves, but this is awful. You click on way too many things and the curser is moving too much. The video needs to be more crisp and clean. Make your videos more pleasing and you will probably get more followers, but also, if you keep giving false information, you're going to keep getting comments that are not good. And it is not a good look that you have not answered questions that people ask you.

I have been doing this since Aug. Then Amazon dropped me as an affiliate, because they told me they do not use Pinterest. That was the reason I was dropped. Please tell me how your able to do this. So confused.
