You see this with “less PC Cards for one member”; multiple albums with the same tracklist, but the only change is the cover photo; putting more popular members/content behind unnecessary paywalls, charging an arm and a leg for “extra materials” being added to albums that cost pennies to make, etc. Like the other commenter said it’s capitalism for the sake of it, but kpop fans excuse it because it has to do with their faves, and no one likes admitting to themselves they’re willingly letting these corporations milk them
