I could barely distinguish these different sounds before watching your video when listening to the song "Sweet Transvestite" (sung by Tim Curry for a movie), specifically at the beginning of the song: Don't get strung out by the way that I *look* Don't judge a *book* by its cover I'm not much of a man by the light of day But by night I'm one hell of a lover After watching this video, the difference between *look* or *book* , and for example *Pool* is crystal clear xD

it's new for me to know that the long sound (of the two you were contrasting) has a "w" quality at the end. My phonetics teacher told me that it's only long, but she never mentioned all the things you did mention in this video. Thank you very much for making videos like this one I've learnt a lot from you...
