Hi - for the soil prop plants - how much water and how often?

Hello. How often to water would depend on a few factors, your soil mixture, pot size, and the weather. As a general rule for soil propagation, it is good to keep the soil moist to promote root growth. Check the moisture regularly every 2-3 days by sticking your finger approx 1 inch in the soil. If it is moist, you do not need to water. If it slightly dry, you may proceed to water the plant. Hope this helps.
