When is it best to take the cuttings outside? How was your experience with those 9 plants - are they huge shrubs by now? How well do they grow in your area? Would love to see more!

Well my cuttings are only just rooting and about half rooted but best to take hardwood cuttings and they will root in like 4-5 months then leave them 1 year preferably two years before selling them

Late summer. And best time to plant is early spring or late fall when dormant (or any time between if a warm climate w/ little to no frost).

No. Each cutting makes an individual plant

What was the powder you put on the end of the cutting?

It was rooting powder to help tease the cutting into rooting, however it isn't needed and honey is a good cheap alternative
