This is great information. I have never heard of this before. I looked up hosta crowning as you mentioned but barley found any info on it. It would be nice if you made another video crowning a smaller hosta variety along with more information about this technique.

Yes it works pretty well if you don’t have a lot of stock. Great way to build up supply. I have a small Hosta I will be dividing I will do a video on that

Yes as long as the ground isn’t frozen and you can dig up clumps
