mulberries are easy to propagate...no need for some extra procedures...its like cutting a cassava stem and put it in the soil.

@@bobnewhart4318 mulberries are best grown from cuttings, i think grafting mulberries is just a waste of time because the success rate is much lower than planting the mulberry cutting to a temporary pot or plastic then transfer it in much larger pot or in direct soil if the plant is already stable...just remember, choose the right branch to plant...if the branch is too young, most probably it will rot if you plant it...also dont put it in direct sunlight and dont put too much water in it if the branch/cutting you plant is not yet budding.👍

​@@sherwynGThis makes sense to me. As it seems mulberry trees are very hardy and grow easily, but also have somewhat delicate and bendy branches. Which makes me assume grafting might not be best. Unless it's a tree that's quite old and large.

@@terrapinflyer273 yes, it's very easy to grow mullberry but if you're a begginer planting that, it's normal to fail...you might over water it, you might choose a wrong or young branch to plant, to much sun exposure, etc. that's normal...also if you finally grow your mullberries...pruning is very important, upruned mulberry can grow big like some other trees...i have seen a 20yr old unpruned mulberry trees and those are pretty damn big and lush trees, maybe 20ft in height.😅

I do recommend taking the mulberries off when they are this young and cuttings as it puts all the energy into them and not the roots and they all end up dying from my experience

@@tt7762 Aloe has root promoting hormone in it. I use Clonex, which is a synthetic root hormone that you can buy. It works well, at least for figs.

If u can show they actually rooted then i would believe. If u take a cuttings with buds and plant it it will definitely activate the buds to grow. The energy it use it that remaining energy in the cuttings after 2 weeks it will die if it wont root.

They do and will root. I have mulberry trees and they super easy to root. Just cut them about six to 8 inches long don’t need to be exact. Make sure the bottom have 1 or two nodes remove all leaves and just stick them to the ground and keep it moist. It will root

I don't know much at all about this, but I assume it might be possible with mulberry trees. As they are very hardy and take it upon themselves to pop up just about anywhere and take off growing. Might try it just to see if it does work. As I'd love to plant a mulberry tree fence between my back yard and my neighbor's.

@h0-tyme292 if you have acess to mulberry either get cuttings in dormant season before buds break open and grow vegetatively or get cuttings after the plant has fruited before it goes dormant . removing fruit is recommend to let plant focus on root growth.
