Generally when using the same rooting powder I will first poke a hole in the dirt so the powder does not get scraped off on the way down through the dirt and I do not tap it off after putting a cutting in the rooting powder.

it would helpful to mention how and how often you water the cuttings, how long they take to root and when you plant them. Pete moss andis a good mix.

My Russian sage plant is about 4 ft. tall but it is planted in the wrong spot. Is it possible to transplant such a large plant and if yes then when would be the best time?

Thank you for your comment and for watching. It is possible to transplant your Russian Sage. I would wait until the plant is dormant, in the Spring, before it shows signs of growth.

I would also trim it way back before transplanting. It would be best to do this in the Fall.

Not at this time. We are in the winter months and they won’t be up again until spring.
