Thank you very much for this lovely video. I think there is something that might be helpful. So, after roots appear, I cut the leaves into half horizontally, which provokes growing of little plantlets of kalanhoe much faster. I learnt the technique with African violets, and works fantastically for both plants.

I had planted a batch last year, all the leaves have rooted ,but baby plants are not comming,if I cut them do you think they will?

@@asfi7883 I cut them without hesitation (I have a plenty of leaves to play around) and I have 5 examples with little plantlets and 4 examples without them (but with huge callus). My explanation is that it is winter where I live, and that in spring things will improve. If I were you, I would try with one or two examples. You cannot kill them for sure. Another reason for no plantlets might be that the petiole of the leaf with roots is too deep in the ground , because of too long petiole. In that case I would put the leaf just bellow the surface of the soil/sand/medium. Anyway, propagation from a single leaf is a process that might last up to 6 months (according to some sources on the net). I will be waiting for some great news from you!

This plant only blooms in the spring

Put the plant in absolute darkness (wardrobe for example, or a box) for 12 hours a day during 3/4 weeks, fertilise the plant after that, and it will bloom very soon. This is so called "short day method". This way kalanhoe may bloom in different seasons. Naturally, as the author said, the plant will bloom in spring, because of short days / less light during the winter.
