I have noticed,when sewing bustier using my normal shoulder which is 16,it ends up been too wide on the shoulder and always having excess on the neck point of the shoulder as well. But i dont experience that problem with princess dart or any other dart. 2. Ma i notice u prefer to add sewing allowance on the shoulder to maintain the bustpoint and underbust,would it be same if u make the bust 10.5 and underbust 13.5 without adding the allowance on the shoulder? Mayb thats where my issue is coming from. Would be glad to hear from you

Let me help you with the answer. No Ma, it won't be the same. Eg bp 10. 5, ub 13.5, hl 16. When you join the shoulder with half inch, bp that was 10.5 will shift to 10, ub that was 13.5 will shift to 13 same with hl, because you didn't add that half inch shoulder allowance . So to avoid tampering with the accurate measurements. Add half inch at that shoulder slope for shoulder joining allowance. Note: This knowledge, I got all from Mummy Chisom Eneh. She's just the best
