How to properly cut Foam board / Foam core?

Brilliant thank you so much! I always had trouble cutting foam board. I didn't even want to use it anymore because of getting jagged edges all the time. I am excited to try your tips out next time for a better cut!

You’re very welcome! Foam board is a great material and can be used in making different things. You just need a sharp blade and right angle 😊

As you can see in the video the angle of the knife is the key! Keep it close to the foam board and you’ll be fine ☺️

Multiple passes, check. Shallow angle. THAT'S what I was doing wrong, angle too steep!

Does this method work on foam board that's 1/2 inch or 1 inch thick? The foam in the video looks like maybe 1/4 inch. If there's a different method for thicker foam board, please share. :)

Can you please share how you cut a 1" thick foam with the same method? It does not work.

Hi Grace, you can properly cut thicker foams using same technique, however you need to do more passes and keep the blade low. I will make a video and will show you how to do it very soon ☺️
