I worked 35 years in the flag business. I sewed the stripe 150 yards at a time on several machines at a time. 150 yards on automatic machines in 20 minutes each.

Every week my elementary school would choose two students to raise the flag in the morning and take it down at the end of the day. Students from every grade (3-6) participated. We folded the flag as they’re doing in the video. The Pledge of Allegiance was also part of the morning routine.

Everyday, 2 different students from the third grade were taken outside and taught how to raise the flag in the morning, and lower and fold it in the afternoon.

It wasn't in my district, we only sang the allegiance, and watched Veterans fold the flag. Every morning a veteran would raise our flag at school, Every, Single, Day. 🇺🇲 Our town did have boy scouts that would raise the flag sometimes at Town Hall but they were well trained teens when I was a boy. I was actually taught to not touch the flag unless we were protecting it from the ground or from harm. Could be different for states, families and culture around the country though.

I guess this not what the GOP propaganda stands for: The stripes represent the original 13 Colonies and the stars represent the 50 states of the Union. The colors of the flag are symbolic as well; red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice.

I'm a non believer of true love. I think there is no evidence to support the idea of a person sacrificing his/her time and energy solely for the benefit of another.
