Hi I thought that if its by weight 2/1, that means for instance you put 50 of part A and 25 of part B ? Please can you let me know, thank you 😊
@masepoxies
@masepoxies 3 жыл бұрын
the ratios by weight and by volume are different for all of our systems as part a and part b do not have the same weight. The system in the video is actually 100A:45B.

If I needed a 2:1 ratio of resin and my total weight of resin was 90 grams, does that mean i would mix 60 grams of part A and 30 grams of part B, is that correct for a 2:1 ratio?

Still a bit confused if i was going to do a resin pour and the total quantity is 4 ltrs at 2:1 , is their a formula i can use to calculate how much of Part A and how much Part B i'd need to use, Cheers.....

These cups look super helpful! The only thing I’m confused about is how to figure out how much to measure, i understand reading the cups but I’m used to a 1:1 ratio so it’s easy for me to figure out how much to measure for each for four ounce, two ounces for each. How do you figure that out for a 2:1? Or when you use the cups and measure up to the number five does that mean five ounces? On the calculator you mentioned you have to put in the dimensions not how many ounces you need all up. Thank you
@masepoxies
@masepoxies 2 жыл бұрын
There is an area on the cup for that! So you’d pour your part a first to the 2 line (for example) then you would take your part b and continue filling to the 3 line. That would be a 2:1 ratio!
@Gazzaxxo
@Gazzaxxo 2 жыл бұрын
@@masepoxies first of all thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me, I really appreciate it. I understand the concept of using the cup to measure a 2:1 ratio. My question was what does the number 3, for example stand for? For 3 ounces of resin all up?

so i get the 2:1 ratio, but how do you figure how far up to pour based on the volume you need to fill.. if i need to pour 139 ouces.. how would i judge what line to fill to.

Please I know that the ratio of 1.1 is 50 ml plus 50 the ratio 2.1 that is my problem and the 3.1 ratio. I still don't understand it. Ratio 1.1 50ml Ratio 2.1? Ratio 3.1?

It depends on which epoxy you are using! If it’s a 1:1 ratio like our table top pro or art pro, then yes! If it’s Annie’s Art Kit, LV, or FLAG then that’s a 2:1 ratio! You can use our resin calculator on our website to figure out how to do the math!

This is very confusing because the marks on the cups for the 2:1 ratio does not tell you whether those are ounces, grams or what and those marks only go up to 6. This is really confusing and useless.
