If you fill you blaster cabinet with baking soda it works pretty good and is dissolved by water!

When applying aircraft remover use a paintbrush, and brush only one direction so you don't disturb the paraffin, generous amount, it will work way better

I just noticed your valve cover is using the metal PCV valve(same as 1st gen 63s). 2nd gen 63/mitsu engines usually uses plastic PCV valves.

To make it much much easier I would leave it with that paint stripper in an closed bag over night and then high pressure wash it with hot water the day after.. I would rinse right of with good pressure.

Next time cover the valve cover with a plastic bag while the stripping agent is on it. It should help trap the gases and chemicals making it more effective

17:18 the G-Plus timing belt cover is for Evo 8. It shouldn't fit with the Evo 9 Mivec Cam.

The jb weld was not a good idea.... Over time with heat and friction it will inevitably break down and create fragments in you engine. You should have used something like a locking washer.
