Playing in 2024, my first pet produced an egg. I had no idea what to do with it so like a good parent I handed it off to the first stranger I could find at the space anomaly. I still wonder what happened to that egg. Love this game.

Important tip for Growth Hormone: You can keep running the same egg through the sequencer to stack doses of growth hormone. Also, I believe once Weight / Height says "inherited" when adding a catalyst you know should increase it, you've hit the max size. I imagine the same applies to min size if you're reducing Weight / Height too, but I haven't tried it myself.

​@jaysroom2318 It depends on the size of the parent and the max/min size of the body type. It's possible to find animals that are already close to max or min size. Most you find will take multiple passes before hitting the max/min.

If you want to make it big as hell use platinum on the growth hormone. On regards the gene splitter depending on the dose of platinum you use it will make a different part of the body bigger I only remember from 80 to 99 % will affect the head, 100% or higher will be random

Just want to point out that Mordite doesn’t increase the size hormones it decreases it and same for carbon

watch out, on nintendo switch version, the gene splitter doesnt work. I overdosed an egg many times at 150% and didnt change nothing on the anatomy, also the materials you need to change the personality are different... for example, carbon on should increase helpfulness, but on switch it does the opposite. This also aplies to colr schemes, tho the kinda look pretty similar in general.

I really don't get this gene splitter thing!? I used different materials, with different values (50%, 66%, 100%, 150%), on different pets (T-Rex, Dogs, Cats) and each pet has always the same offspring! The T-Rex has ALWAYS an offspring with the same horns and the same scales on their backs. The Dog always turns into a cat-like creature and the cat only changes its' tail!?!? What am I doing wrong?!

I want to make a gigantic butterfly /moth with Mothra colors, anyone knows how to axjhieve that I have a white with red butterfly but is small :(

hi! I'm currently messing around with my butterfly pets and I found out that the moths might not be able to get as big as let's say a diplo who can be sequenced up to 12m as an infant and grow bigger once it's an adult (I believe I may be wrong about the exact height cap for diplos but it's huge) my baby butterfly is currently 2 meters which was the biggest the sequencer let me go up to but it will grow bigger once it matures into an adult so it is definitely gonna be bigger than 2m when fully grown basically all you want to do is make sure whatever item you put on the growth hormone is affecting it as increasing height each time you max out the growth hormone the baby's size is 0.5 meters bigger than the parent so keep doing that over again until it says the gene is inherited once it says it's inherited that means you've reached the height cap and you should get a huge baby! as for color simply look at the wiki and see what colors u like then use that item on the color slot or mess around with different materials until you get a color you like! hope this helped 😋 TLDR: add items that affect height hormone until it says height inherited for the biggest possible height for color go to wiki to find desired color then use said item in slot good luck!!

I dont know about finding eggs, but to obtain one you tame an creature.. and then you keep it around and happy, and it will start count down to egg being ready. When it says so fly to planet with same temp as its home planet.. and then you got your egg. I just got my first one, hence why on this vid. Its already an agressive large creature, i incr the size but wanted to make it more helpful, now its going to be larger but more agressive too! Haha we shall see.. exciting stuff! :D

I've never used this before. You would use this on a fresh pet egg, correct? You wouldn't use this on a pet egg that had been gifted to you by someone else?

It can be either. Some pets have minimal changes you can make though.

You're wrong about the size : it's the quantity of matter that counts. If you leave the slot empty, your new companion will be very small.
