Get a savage and you've got an armoured memebeam of a cannon that can throw missiles for hours on end with zero cooldown, and terrifying agility and speed for its size. I found that glitch as well when u shut off engine in vtol, you can fall from max height like that and your plane will touch ground softly, everytime 😂

For 6 years I’ve flown and Mastered the PYRO MKII. All I can say is the Raiju has nothing on it other than speed . Now that the lazer , hydra and the Opressor mkii have been nerfed there is no more Competition for me. The Raiju is for noobs n cowards “stealth “ nothing else . Currently it’s full of bugs so I’m forced shoot them out the cockpit.

Taking off backwards brings me back to when you used to be able to do a cool backwards takeoff with the Lazer. You can get some way cooler kills with this jet though. If you position yourself right you can toggle vtol facing the ground above your target and rain down hell but they can't look up high enough to get you. Haven't had fun flying in this game in a while, but this things a lotta fun. Edit: just got to the part of the video where you do it

when i first saw the new jet changes i thought it was weird but after looking at everything I actually like all they've done. Ground play got an indirect buff and air to air combat is more important, the game feels a lot more balanced like this. Firstly, good jet pilots in gta aren't griefers, like real ground tryhards aren't griefers, only tryhard wannabe are griefers, because when you reach top level fighting against noobs brings your level down, that's why real tryhards only fight each other, until a noob attack them with a tank or Rc Bandinoob of course, then the noob gets what he deserve... Secondly, use your brain noob, why can you find more ground fighters in this game than jet fighters ? Because you need more training, skill and brain to become a good dogfighter than becoming a good rocket spammer, as dogtfighter myself i know much more good ground fighters than good dogfighters, 95% of ground tryhard are totaly noob in the air, and at the opposite, 80% of dogfighters are quit good at ground fighting, think about it before saying rubish... Heres some things I found flying the Raiju and doing some research: - You can hover in VTOL upside down and hold the brakes, you will fall down very, very slow - You can do a whole barrelroll while being in VTOL - Due to its high speed you can easily do cobras (nose up and one of the 2 rudder inputs while full speeding) - You can combine the cobra with VTOL and do the legendary Thrust Vectoring maneuver - This one might be a bug: Normal MGs have a really hard time destroying the Raiju, it seems to take ages to disable the Raiju but from what Ive seen it can not explode (except armor bug hits). Shooting the cockpit should always be priority when using any normal-MG based jet/plane Some people might think you will need to learn how to dogfight especially for this update. It is quite useful and fun indeed but there is no need to force yourself to it. If you want to be safe it is actually way better to just drive some armored car around. I still believe most players wont be able to use the VTOL to fight ground targets since explosives, especially railgun, exist and your wing will be visible to the player before your guns can point towards him. The very loud engine also alarms players even if you are in stealth mode. Hiding behind buildings will only work in some cases is my opinion.

I would add its lights to the engine sound : They made it so that in the night its navigation lights are way more visible than other planes which makes it not obvious but definitely visible if you're looking for it That's why i love being in stealth at night as i'm constantly listening to an additional jet sound or odd lights in the sky

Says its so good at killing ground target's? No its not at all you've now gotta be so on target and my point is this. I was going from A to B the other night and outta nowhere I got jumped from the sky by yep you guessed it the Raiju. All of a sudden upon fighting merryweather security I hears thuda thuda thuda and I was hit flush. All as that happened was I bounced around 8 or 9 feet in the air and landed on the ground, dusted myself off and went about my business 😂😂😂. If this was a laser or a hydra pre nerf I would've been wasted outright no question about it. Now pilots and flyboys have to work harder, they have to be so on target with repetitive hits in order to kill. The damage output of the cannons have been nerfed, the splash has been nerfed and the fire rate has been nerfed also. It is not as this kid is saying I have had point blank experience in this and it is not correct what he is saying. Just because he's managed to waste a few people in it does not translate to powerful or just as deadly because it is not. The only thing its got going for it is the stealth, its manoeuvrability, its look, and its VTOL mode. Take away the stealth and its just a prettier Hydra. Period. Oh yeah I forgot, its pretty tough but thats it.

Chrome would be the best for blending in, mostly being up high in the air, or especially at night. However Instead of blending in, you want to disrupt the pilots ability to identify what he’s dealing with till you merge. I use the glitched camo, it looks a lot like the SU-57’s disruption camo irl. The patterns make it hard for the eye to follow at times, especially when passing underneath your opponent with the ground below.

Just because YOU can’t properly use the Raiju doesn’t mean it’s bad for everybody. In fact, since this jet has come out, I have only lost dogfights via ramming into each other. Once you master the VTOL stall maneuver, and realise you can point the nose ANYwhere you want, you won’t lose. It’s too fast for anything to catch up to you, even the pyro cant out turn it. The explosive cannons aren’t terrible once you get the hang of them, and that also puts the Raiju above the better dog fighters simply because it deals more damage per shot landed. And then there’s the stealth, Jesus Christ. It’s a thing a beauty, one of the few things rockstar finally delivered on PROPERLY. It took them 10 years to give us a stealth jet but hey, it’s here.

@@hipplel best counter so far for me has been explosive rounds. If you don’t have explosive rounds, just hide under something and continue to snipe. They’ll get bored not hitting you with the cannons or missiles. The armor is insane though for a jet so it takes quite a few shots.

The only downside to the cannons being weak is people who hide in armored cars in free aim. They kill you then run to the other side of the map in a car that can’t be locked on.

the cannons do like homing rocket or rpg damage on direct hits to vehicles. vtol will make short work of imani tech vehicles.
