NO!! you cannot use a hair serum as a heat protectant!! why do you think all the heat protection sprays are in the market if you could just protect against heat with a cheap serum!! A hair serum is meant to tame down the frizz, add shine and detangle. NOT for HEAT PROCTECTION!!!!! Read the INGREDIENTS, THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO PROTECT THE HAIR AGAINST HEAT DAMAGE
