Interesting, I was just watching shielding videos last night, including a previous one you did. My take, use your shoulder first on 50/50 balls and then go in, inside of the foot with power and plow through them. Works for me as a big guy.

I was the youngest in todays tournament(17 y.o) and my teamates and opponents were all 24+(some even above the age of 30).The game was short (15 mins a half with only 3 matches)and only 1 of my teammate was a good striker. So the thing is in that tournament,i provided one assist,was the most active player (i continuously ran from defense to attacking and vice versa),and probably completed 6-7 passes,but on the other hand i missed a sure chance of a goal,and hit the bar on another. now,after the game i was being scolded by two teammates(both brothers,and were the ones who were playing good or ok-ish maybe). the older one told me i dont even know how to play💀,and the younger one told me that i cannot even pass(remeber i porvided a assist and completed some passes). i know i am not that sort of a good player,but i was not the only one at fault? the other two teammates probably contributed less than what i did and the older brother also conceded a goal solely bcs of his mistake. still now i have not gotten over the insult and have taken it personally,i promise you guys i will have my revenge 🤜🤛 also not to mention,there were many other players (in my team as well as the othres,all aged well)who played far more sub par than me but i was the only who was blamed for losing the tournament. I mean what the fuck do you expect form a skinny 17 y.o. baller to be like against those giants and gym freaks?fucking neymar??

Hey, in my area, I play with my local club and then the best of the best get accepted into a team where we practuce. In games I play really well with my club against the other guys here but in practice, despite trying my hardest, I feel like I play bad. Sometimes slow, dont get the ball a lot, put into positions I am not, getting bodied sometimes, etc. How can I get better here?
