How to Provide Proof of Tax Residency in Google AdSense

If you´re using AdSense to display ads on your website or on your KZbin-videos you are most likely and eventually going to have to prove that you are indeed located in the country you have entered in your AdSense settings that you are.
This is done by providing a so called Proof of Tax Residency. But what in the world is that and how to you get it?
I am in no means an expert here, but since I just went through this myself I figured it might help someone else to hear my process. Please though share any thoughts or questions in the comments below and I´ll help with what I can.

What hapens if we don't submit it, I see it's not mandatory for adsense youtubers yet and I was able to widraw my money.

Hi! That is a great question! However to be honest, I don't really know. I also had my payments going out like normal for about three months even with this message active. So either it's just a "this would be kind of you to specify"-kind of message _or_ a "if you wait too long to provide this documentation a tax sum will start being deducted anyway until proof has been sent in".
