so clear! I like the rationale, will help me remember why and what to do. Thanks!

Really useful video. Do I prune HT roses and English roses in the same way? Thank you

Great tips. I've recently moved and have a rose plant in the garden. It has one single stem to the ground but has only produced a few roses over the summer. Any tips on pruning? Thanks

Please advise 🙏 I somehow missed the proper time to prune my floribunda (Judy Garland), and it already has many rosebuds forming (I think they would bloom in the next week or two)! Everyone recommends waiting until the first week of May for planting out in my area, because we still get a small freeze sometimes in late April. All of this to say-I’m hesitant to prune so many healthy-looking, ready-to-bloom branches! What would you suggest? Allow it to bloom and then prune right after, or cut everything to knee height now? Thank you so much-your video is so much more helpful than any of the others I’ve watched.

Just get it done, it will just flower a bit later.

Sounds just like my favorite British KZbinr Adrian Bliss. Which region is this from? Btw I can't wait for my Rose Floribunda to start flowering!

Tells you to cut the stems on a sloping angle to let rain run off (correct). 2 minutes later, cuts his stems horizontally. 😅
