In this video, I teach you how to puffy paint your Spiderman cosplay suit. You can see how I puff painted my suit with the Tulip dimensional fabric paint. I also showed some clips of me wearing the suit at Fan Expo Canada 2022 in Toronto. I hope you enjoy!

If you want the webbing to come out precise use applicator tips they will help out a lot also mix the puff paint with liquid latex to provide stretch which keeps it from ripping

@@nubby7709 50/50 or 75% liquid latex 25% puff paint is what i found out through another source. Second one is if you don't want it as opaque

It doesn't really matter as long as you add more paint than latex

I’m about to do this with a 2099 suit. It’ll definitely take a comically large amount of time, but it should be pretty sweet.

Great video! Very helpful! I am puff painting, a Superman costume currently, And I'm having a lot of trouble with bubbles.... Normally I hold the spout of the paint a couple of millimeters up off the fabric As I move the bottle, I find that I get straighter lines that way

you could have used black puff paint and then colored it with a chrome sharpies so that it gives off a more realistic effect

Getting myself a new raimi suit (due an upgrade) and one of the options is to add puff paint for a considerable extra. Weighing my options as the extra detail would be nice, but am worried if it starts to come off

Lol it was mainly the the painting process 😝 maybe it’s just me but I never painted with my suit stuffed… I’ve always laid it flat and stretched it out and paint sections at a time… I’m that neat freak lol I still messes up tho, don’t get me wrong but the lines come out more straight and clean if the surface is flats bd you can rest your wrist to control the lines and paint coming out
