@@Trollol12 I mena don't be tense until you are actually making contact with the ball. Once you're a milisecond away from hitting the football is when you should flex your quad.

I must say, i took screenshots of all these slides at the end of my last juco season when i was averaging 39.4 yards and i’ve been applying them to my game. Now i come back to this video averaging 45 yards and 4.5-5.2 hang. Thanks a lot for the help, because with no coaching its tough to learn this stuff on my own.

I like how you worded “forming your foot around the football” also, any tips for punting with a helmet on? I just started punting with a helmet on and its been a lot harder for some reason

Great video!! Do you have any advice or recommend any particular drills/exercises for the leg swing? I have trouble getting my leg to go far back in my swing. When I swing back my toes stay pointed perpendicular to the ground instead of parallel to the ground. I feel like this takes away a lot of power.

Hey bro good question. You want to make sure you are as flexible as you can back. The leg swing back will come over time as you get better and more flexible. In the meantime also work on strength training and using resistance bands even while you do leg swings.

For the 600 punts a week do you break it up into one steps and fulls or is it 600 full steps a week?
