Just a couple things you may want to try out. You're barrels should already be set to fit your needles instead of having to adjust them each time you set up your machine, only disposables need so much adjusting. You may want to try to bend your needles just slightly towards the grommet end just to make it easier to slip into the barrel and not have an issue of potentially blunting or damaging the needle as it goes into the tip. Also to help with needle tension using a size 12 rubber band to secure the needle a little more helps a lot i feel. just suggestions incase you would like to give it a try and see if it works for you. As long as it's not bent or anything I would just say keep using it isn't it as long as it's not on a person

Friendly guy. But you set the "machine" up wrong. Before touching anything glove up. Second you NEVER force a needle in the tube like that. Third slightly bend the needle. Fourth spine of needle goes in the back. Fifth the grommet goes on before the needle. Sixth put a rubber band around the coils and needle for stability. Otherwise your going to tear the shit out of someone's skin. And just a reminder. You don't need the voltage up so high that the machine sounds like a chainsaw. Please please please don't teach people to set up a machine if you yourself don't know how.

barbed needle because he put the tube, grip and tip in tube vice 1st, backwards nipple, no rubber bands, no slight bend in the needle bar, needle bar is upside down in tube, no machine bag, no clip cord cover, no barrier tape on grip, and no gloves! I would definitely say he knows how to set up a machine

I disagree, we do NEED crappy tattoos out there. Why? Because that's how we learn. I see a crappy tattoo and I want to do better than that. My son has some of the best prison tats I've seen (unfortunately) and some of the worst. We learn from others mistakes. Great vid buddy.
