what are you using to cut your plastic clips? Also are you making it 6inchs between your bass and middle tenor?

I was wondering about why they use zip ties on the cords.

I don't mean to be rude, you guys seem awesome and I'm fairly sure I will order my first set of pipes from you guys.. but using zip/cable ties seems so.. ghetto? I know scotsmen are supposed to be cheap but that seems just silly. It's really an industry standard now?

Thanks for your great question. Zip ties are the standard now and are easier and more effective than the previous methods, which were stitching the cords on or using black waxed hemp. The zip ties can be removed and repositioned, if necessary. Most importantly, they don't deteriorate and break--something that would inevitably happen right before a performance with the old thread or hemp systems.
