I just got mine two days ago and the guy used a pin piercing and bent it into an L shape and it's honestly quite comfortable. Like, obviously my nose is sore and all, but I like the L shape. Once it heals and I can put in different ones I'm gonna try all the different kinds and like sizes of hoops and gems to see which ones I like.

I absolutely hate corkscrew only because the u shape keeps on moving in my nose and I hate to keep on pushing it back in, I switched to L and I love it because it holds the piercing in but you don’t have to worry about the metal piece hanging out your nose because it sits against the inside of your nose. The only thing I don’t like about the L is that it hurts to put in only because it has that right angle.

Katito I find the corkscrew WAY more comfortable than the L haha I got new corkscrews as I can’t stand the L ones the L is so easy to get in for me and the corkscrew takes a few minutes 😂

For anyone watching it’s really helpful for me when I dip the end of the stud in some type of oil like coconut or olive oil to make it easier to get in. I’ve never put in a L bend before but I put in screws a few times which I think is a little harder and the oil really helps! Also forceps if you have any!

I didn’t fully understand the angle part of it. My ring fell out a month before I was supposed to change it 😳. It was one of the ones with a front and back part. I couldn’t get the back in. I used an L shaped to guide the back since I could only find the piercing from the front. The front back combo felt more secure but getting the L shaped in helped me to get the other one in. So this saved my piercing! Thanks!
