I do a similar thing with the pantyhose on the sideburns, but I keep old hose in a ball, and instead of pressing straight down, I use the ball, and press and roll the lace into the spirit gum.

How long does the spirit guy hold the wig down? Can it last a few days or only last a few hours ?

spirit gum is only for a temporary use, they way im doing it is for drag/theatre for performances not everyday wear. :)
