Thanks for sharing. Normally the nasal will hot to touch (this is what we're worried, like the stove burner?) not everyone knows the burning gas is burning direct with Oxygen in the air? and the stove burner is burning the the mixture of gas and oxygen (you can tell by the light blue frame? the temperature may up to 6 hundred +?) now I can tell by the orange color frame can be touch? But I don't want to take any risk? I PREFER TO use wet towels to put out the fires and make sure properly turn off the switch. Thanks.

in reality what are the changes of the nozzle of the valve being exposed and the end of the nozzle being cool enough to put your finger on it. If the gas cylinder where attached to say a gas barbeque giving it the finger may not be possible although the wet cloth might be an idea. We had a fire on a gas cylinder on a as barbeque recently and he damage it did when it exploded suggest that you would NOT want to be standing next to the gas bottle let alone touching it. As a health and safety office I would suggest having every one run away from the fire and call the emergency services.
