great job Gladys, we can say I am determined to improve my English, as for determine, it kind of means "decide." For example, "What school she goes to will determine her education" "The weather will determine whether or not we go on the picnic" hope that helps!

Hi, Connor, that is a good idea how to push yourself in order to become a fluent and more confident speaker. I work with your sentence for a bit longer time. I try to remember it and repeat or say it in my words. And then writte it down on the paper to improve my written skill as well, at least a little. Thanks for your job

Here's my personal answer to this question: when I think about throwing in the towel, that makes me remember the goals I've set over the past 5 years about learning English. Every year, I try a new method, but it doesn't pan out, and I wave a white flag at the end of each year. until I come across the channel of mister Connor who teaches me excellent techniques to be able to speak English .
