How to quickly program a Paradox Alarm with MG5050 and K10H

as the title states. this is a quick guide for a basic setup of a paradox alarm. The main board was a MG5050 and the keypad is a K10H.

Our Alarm started beeping in the night with error code 8 which would not clear. I disconnected the battery-which later tested ok at 13.7 V -and pulled the fuse on the control box to turn off all power to the unit but it still continued to chirp for quite some time -at least till I feel asleep -and then in the morning when I powered it up again it started chirping again with error 8 back again but when I cleared the error code it stopped chirping and error code 8 did not return. Any ideas as to why it would still chirp with the control Box powered off and what was going on ?

Thanks - useful video. I have a sp6000. I want to change the delay of an existing set up exterior sensor #10 to instant as there is a delay currently. I believe this is code ´08´ looking at Chapter 7 in the manual. So if I understand correctly the sequence would be: Enter-0000-010(zone)-08(zone definition)-1(partition). ? Will it ask me about the part at the end for the EOL resistors selection event thought they are already set up? Thanks

entered Enter followed by 0000 or 000000 and the panel just emits a long beep at me and does nothing. I assume the installer has changed it then? I bet they are not willing to give it to me and I´ll have to reset everything!!@@bradthesparky91
