How to quilt Connecting Designs

Amazing! How you remembered the correct direction to proceed is something I really would have to practice on paper a few times at least. I'm directionally challenged! Beautiful choice of fabric and color that fits well with your chosen quilting design. Thank you for this great video.

Brenda yes a basic plan. Plus these are techniques and designs from my book so once I pick a few designs it's all repetition.

Thanks Ida Bourne ! and that is a great suggestion. Sometimes the quilting is not finished before I post a video but I have been trying to add a picture of the full quilt to the more recent videos.

Watching your wonderful videos again. Do you mark your quilt with your pounce pad before you put it on your frame? I have trouble with marking with my pounce pad while on the frame.

Yes, if I know what the plan is (which I do 95% of the time) then I will mark the top before loading on the longarm. The marks are clearer if I pounce with the hard surface underneath and they stay on longer if you use the Miracle Chalk pounce powder.

Ok Thanks for letting me know. After a video has been uploaded there is no adjustments I can make to the sound. On my newer videos I have been increasing the overall volume so hopefully that will help. Thanks for the feedback.

Since you are. Doing some free motion and some ruler work, do you have your ruler base on while you are doing all this free motion work?

She is using a ruler foot. Each type of machine has a ruler foot separately to protect needle and machine from hitting the ruler.
